Well, since I have a blog now, I will use it to vent.

So I found out on Wednesday that John Mayer is going to be playing three dates in December at Eddie's Attic. Chance of a lifetime, since he hasn't played there since I moved to Atlanta. I had someone ready to buy me a ticket since I would be teaching at the time they went on sale this morning. Alas, the website to buy tickets crashed 2 minutes before they were to go on sale. After trying to buy them online all day today, I just found out when I got home that you could purchase them over the phone starting at 2pm. By the time I called at 4:30, all 3 shows were sold out. I am so, so sad.

I called my friend I was going to go with and the only way she could console me was "Well, we believe in a sovereign God." True. And John Mayer at Eddie's Attic isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, even compared to things I had to deal with today. But I still REALLY wanted to go.
