a rodent contest
All in all, it took: a yellow plastic broom, red duct tape, a cookie sheet, two sheets of aluminum foil, 3 sheets of paper towel, a lighter, a coat hangar, and a cellphone. Now guess how it was killed.Warning, this is gross:

i already told him how it happened.
i was initially confused about the coat hanger, so i'll add my theory on that. my theory of fact.
the red duct tape trapped it.
the broom killed it. in a violent manner.
he picked it up/dragged it with the coat hanger. post mortem.
placed it on aluminum foil.
then placed it on a cookie sheet, to carry to the trash. or the oven.
cleaned up his mess with paper towels.
celebrated with fire.
took a picture with his phone.
thats exactly what happened.

That is amazing. I'm so proud of you. We can join the rodent extermination team. I killed a mouse in a church once by stepping on it, to the dismay of the dear church-members, who were very compassionate. I, on the other hand, am not so compassionate to these furry creatures when they are in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Hmm...I think the yellow plastic broom was for shooing it somewhere (like a corner). It probably ran away but not far, being traumatized and going into shock. You then probably had to get something to hit it on the head with, say, a cookie sheet wrapped with aluminum foil and duct tape. Then, since it was in a dark corner, you had to use the cellphone to take a picture and find it's location, and then get it to move using fire as intimidation. Then, it ran, you banged it on the head with the metal sheet, and then used the paper towels and hanger to deal with waste management.
Anyway. Success. I can't believe you killed a rat in your house. Hope to see you soon and get the real scoop.
ew.
