new abode
I'm moving in a little less than a month. While I'm sad to be leaving my present roommate, I'm pretty excited about the new place, the new roommates, and the new area of town. More about that later, and
Kate has described it well, too. I went down there today to measure a few things and take a few pictures. Here are some of them.

From across the street

Front porch- My swing is really looking forward to its new home.

The kitchen with chop block counters, a 6 burner commercial stove, and a lovely tile floor.

The dining room, awaiting the foosball table. I love all the shelves around the ceiling!

The living room- gonna have to do something about the fireplace that clashes with my red couch.

And my bedroom. I've never seen such enormous shelves!

wow! you're going to love it there! can i come stay with you? ekw
Um, yes. I'm coming to visit. Can we sit on your porch? Can we drink tea? Can we stay out when it gets dark and watch the fireflies?
That's awesome! I can't wait to come see it after you move in! I LOVE the Inman/Candler park neighborhoods. Gorgeous colors in the house, too. I'm jealous. ;)
We're actually looking to rent a house once our lease runs up, but probably somewhere a bit less pricey (since we're one family), like in Brookhaven. Still, it'll be nicer to be a bit closer to the ATL. And we DO need to get together soon-- I'll shoot you an e-mail!
P.S. Those shelves could be like a cubby/desk area. Or great storage with some wicker baskets. Neat! And I love the blue color. Or are you planning on painting it?
did you make this link to my post? how did that happen?
