winter wonderland
I took the long weekend to go visit Graham in St Louis. It had snowed on Tuesday and the temperature had not risen above freezing since then and then it snowed more on Friday, so it was a winter wonderland. Everyone in St Louis was over the snow, but having not been in real snow, more than 2 inches deep since high school, I was super-excited. Especially since I knew I would be back in the warm(ish) south in 2 days.I convinced Graham to play in the snow with me- we made snow angels and threw snowballs at each other. I attempted to slide down a hill on my rear, but when that was not successful, I decided instead to roll down the hill. You can imagine the snowy results.
Alas, on Monday, the temperature rose to almost 50 and the snow melted away.It was an excellent weekend with my good friend!

snow is best experienced in weekend-size doses, i believe.
