atlanta ramblings

Kate and I went on a bike ride to Oakland Cemetery this morning.

We road through Cabbagetown, which I've always wanted to explore. Unfortunately, virtually every road in Cabbagetown is under some sort of construction, so it made for a rather unpleasant ride.

It was a gorgeous morning- we spent most of our time exploring the Jewish section of the cemetery.

I saw the saddest inscription I've ever seen on a headstone- "Papa- You have left us all alone in our once happy home."We also found Henry Inman's grave, who founded our neighborhood, as well as Margaret Mitchell and the founder of Rich's department store.
