Likely, not to revive the blog. But first, an excerpt from a book I'm reading, Can Education Change Society? (Michael W. Apple)An education system that evacuates these norms and rationalities [love, care, and solidarity] is better thought of as "training" than what we properly call education. Creating an education that embodies these "affective" norms is challenging a society's structures of (in)equality.
