Something struck my funny bone in my research methods class on Monday. Therefore I will share it with you. We were talking about survey methods and had to critique a number of poorly written survey questions, deciding what their flaws were and then re-writing them. My favorite poor question:

At what age were you potty-trained?

() under 6 months
() 6-9 months
() 9-12 months
() 12-18 months
() 18-24 months
() 2-3 years
() older than 3 years
() not applicable
