a new epoch
Today I became our cross country coach. Today I coached my first meet as a cross country coach. You're saying to yourself, "Courtney, I didn't know you ran cross country." I don't. My qualifications as a coach? I'm willing to do it. And I run occassionally on my own.
I keep saying that I'm going to run the Atlanta Thanksgiving Half-Marathon. I told myself I would coach because it would make me run everyday with the kids. We'll see how that works out... we start tomorrow!
And if you know anything about cross country, share the love!

hmmm...i learned that you can take the photo with the team and then quit because you realize how much running long distances bites...does that help? seriously, good for you - you'll be an excellent coach! ekw
I turned down a teaching job that included being a cross country coach in order to do software. Does that count?
hopefully your team has already put in their base miles...
I am pretty sure you're on crack...
hey, i don't know you, i don't think, except that you posted to btm's website. i was a coach for 3 years before they fired the athletic director that hired me. the best things you can do is:
1. don't act like a "I'm so cool" Coacher dude.
2. beleive in your workouts
3. encourage your kids to the point that you look like an idiot.
