I love Jonathan Kozol. I am inspired by his writing and his activism in education, fighting for all children to have the opportunity for an excellent education. Laura shared this article with me about how he has been on a hunger strike since July against No Child Left Behind.

I would highly recommend his Savage Inequalities for anyone who wants a true depiction of what many urban and inner city schools are like.
